Early PreSchool (Ages 2½ and 3)

Two and three year olds are terrific learners. They are beginning to understand group play and become better at communicating their thoughts. Our Early Preschool program emphasizes language development, introduction to simple math, life skills, and creative and hands on activities. Children will also have plenty of group activities to practice social skills, such as cooperation, sharing, and taking turns.

Pre-K (Ages 4 and 5)    Preparing for school and a lifetime of learning together

Pre-kindergarten is a critical time for children as they begin the adventure of a lifetime of learning.  Our Pre-Kindergarten program promotes independence while preparing your child for the next exciting phase - Kindergarten!  We make the transition smoother by helping children become more familiar with an organized environment.  We focus on group play to develop social skills, such as listening, sharing, and cooperation.  Our teachers have a passion for what they do and consider it a privilege to partner with you during this special time in your child's life.

KindergartenBefore and After School Programs     A Safe and Fun Place for Your Child

Bright Beginnings Before and After School Program provides a great balance of recreational and educational activities for your child's out-of-school experience.  Each day brings an exciting variety of engaging and hands-on activities that will help to develop both their interests and skills.  There is also time for your child to work on homework.  That means more time for quality time at home for the family.

Our Before and After School Program hours conveniently meet your child's daily schedule and elementary school closings.  We also provide daily transportation to and from local schools.

Features:

  • Physical Exercise Time - Whether inside or outside, your child will have plenty of physical activity.  Outside they will enjoy our safe and diverse playground; inside they will have fun playing games, singing songs or doing crafts.  The physical exercise will greatly benefit your child's health and also make them more alert and ready to learn.
  • Group Time - In this time we gather the children together to share a positive experience from their day.  Each child will be given this opportunity, which also allows our teachers to get to know your child, and their different needs.  Our teachers will then be able to more readily recognize your child's interests and adjust our program accordingly.
  • Homework Time - Built into every day's schedule is 30 minutes for homework completion.  If your child does not have homework, they may participate in a variety of quiet activities, such as leisure reading, puzzle construction or completion of an art-inspired activity.
  • Project Time - Your child will daily be given the opportunity to work on different long-term projects.  They will also learn together with other children and build new friends.
  • Literature and Bible Time - Your child will have the opportunity to share within a group setting what they have learned about the various Bible and other stories being read.  Our literature time has different themes that will spark the interest of your child.

Curriculum     Academic and Bible

Academic:
We use ABEKA Kindergarten curriculum because we believe it is one of the most effective curriculum available today for establishing a strong foundation in reading, writing and mathematics. It is Bible based and very engaging. We incorporate learning centers and group activities into the curriculum daily.

Bible:
It is our priority to partner with parents establishing a love for God's Word in the heart of their child. We teach the Bible every day using a curriculum called The Beginner's Bible. Each child receives a very special notebook to keep Bible lessons in, which parents can use to review at home. The children love the Friday Chapel!
